Recipe of the Week 4: Traditional English Trifle

1 small box raspberry, strawberry or orange flavored jello
Fruit according to jello flavor
4 chocolate muffins
Chocolate mouse
Heavy whipping Cream

Make jello according to package instructions except reduce water by 1/2 - 3/4 cup water.  Add in fruit and diced muffins.  Chill until set.  Spread chocolate mouse over the set jello/muffin mixture.  Whip up cream with a little sugar until fluffy and stiff.  Spread over the mouse.  Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.

*According to my sister who just returned home from her mission in England, this is how trifle is served.  I honestly had my doubts about it but, it is really very tasty and light.  I am glad to have a new dessert to make that everyone can enjoy.  I am excited to have this again and very soon.
