10-12 oz. penne or ziti pasta
2 c. heavy cream
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 c. shredded swiss cheese, divided
2 chicken breasts, diced or sliced into thin strips
3/4 c. diced cooked bacon
3/4 c. diced ham
bread crumbs
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. In a saucepan melt cream cheese over low heat. Whisk in cream until smooth. Add in onion powder and garlic powder. Stir in 1 cup of swiss cheese. Combine pasta with chicken, bacon and ham. Stir in sauce and spread in a greased 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Top with a thin layer of bread crumbs. Bake at 350* for 15 minutes.
*This recipe originated from Chef in Training. I loved it, the boys found it questionable because they decided they didn't like chicken today. We had a light spinach, mandarin, strawberry salad to go with this and it seemed to make a really nice pairing.
