Peanut Butter Fondue

This is a great combination of sweet and salty.  I loved this fondue recipe that came from A Year of Crockpotting.  Loved it!

3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cream or half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
4 large marshmallows

Place all ingredients except the marshmallows in a small crockpot, fondue crock or an oven safe dish that fits inside your big crockpot - DO NOT stir.  Press the marshmallows down into the peanut butter.  Cover and cook for about an hour until it's melty and you can stir everything together.  The marshmallows may need a little more time so cover and check it again in 15-20 minutes.  Serve with apples, celery, bananas, crackers, pretzels, marshmallows whatever you want to dip.  This stuff is great!
