Pizza Dough

I always make our own pizza dough.  This is the recipe I use.  I started off using the pizza dough recipe in the Betty Crocker cookbook and it has evolved to this.  We love this crust!

4 c. flour (I use a combination of white/wheat flours depending on my mood)
1 tbsp. honey
2 1/4 tsp. yeast
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 c. very warm water

Combine 2 cups of flour, honey, yeast and salt.  Add in the olive oil.  Stir in the warm water.   Stir in enough remaining flour to pull dough away from sides.  Knead in the remaining flour until soft and elastic.  At this point you may let the dough rise for 30 minutes to make 2 pizzas or immediately roll out onto a pan and top with desired pizza toppings.  Bake the pizza at 450F until the cheese is all melty and bubbly and golden brown, about 15 minutes.
