Rolo Sandwiches

This is our version of a very tasty and simple treat that I was introduced to last Christmas.  We like our treats a little sweet and a little salty.

1 bag or rolos, wrappers removed
1 bag small pretzel shapes

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.  Layer pretzels on cookie sheet and top each pretzel with a rolo. Place in a 350F oven for about 5 minutes or until rolos just start to melt.  Immediately remove the pan from the oven and place another pretzel atop each rolo pressing down just a little to seal the two pretzels together.  Let cool completely, this is done faster if they are put in the refrigerator.  Enjoy!  These make a great treat, a special snack, and easy to change with the holidays or seasons.  Traditionally these are done pretzel, rolo and pecan half.  You can use any kind of kiss and topped with an M&M.

try putting a walnut or pecan on them after you pull them out of the oven instead of the 2nd pretzel... even better, if possible:)
