Yogurt Marmalade Cake

We tried this recipe (from Pioneer Woman) last Sunday.  The cake was good but I think we just had some bad marmalade so....Since I made strawberry marmalade yesterday we tried the cake again with the strawberry marmalade.  Oh My!  That is a good cake.  We ate it for breakfast, it's not super sweet like birthday cake it's more along the lines of coffee cake.  Good cake!  Here's the recipe.

1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. plain yogurt
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
zest of one lemon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. marmalade
1/4 c. plain yogurt

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.  In another bowl combine the yogurt, sugar, eggs, zest and vanilla.  Pour into the flour mixture.  Add in the oil.  Mix until combined.  Bake in a 350F oven for 45 minutes.  Let cool for 10 minutes and invert onto a plate.  Meanwhile the cake is baking melt marmalade in saucepan over low heat until melted; stir in the yogurt.  Pour warm marmalade sauce over warm inverted cake.  Serve and enjoy!
